Moving In And Routine

March 16, 2018

Moving in, creating routines, and becoming a family

We took the next step as a family and moved in together. It didn’t happen in one day, we did it gradually to help Ella get used to the idea. I was worried she wouldn’t like sharing her Dad with me and wanted her to get used to the idea of having me around all…

Stay At Home Mom vs. Working Mom

My husband and I just recently made a very difficult decision, which shouldn’t have been that difficult! Should I be a full-time, stay at home mom? It sounds wonderful, right? Becoming “Stepmom”

January 26, 2018

I’ve always hated the term, “Stepmom”, thanks to Cinderella it’s shown in a negative light…“bonus mom” doesn’t feel right either, so for now I’m good with just Victoria. Hi there! My name is Victoria, I’m 31 years old living in Las Vegas NV from California and I’m going to be a Stepmom one day. My…

Home For The Holidays

January 22, 2018

Coming home for the holidays is probably the best part of my year. Living so far away from my family has made me appreciate every minute I get to spend with them.

Coming home for the holidays is probably the best part of my year. Living so far away from my family has made me appreciate every minute I get to spend with them. This year was extra special as I got to bring home my one-year-old daughter, Audrey. I was so excited to see people’s reactions…

You’ve heard it before, but it’s worth repeating: When you make your own physical and mental well-being a priority, it makes you better capable of caring for your loved ones. Lynnaya | Finding Work-Life Balance

Is This Normal?

January 8, 2018

Let’s be honest…lack of sleep, stress, self-doubt, and mood swings are something most all new moms experience. Whether it’s your first or fourth child, motherhood tests you.  Through the birth of Sophie and then Jake, I was lucky enough to have some great support around me, including my husband, family, and friends. January 8, 2018

My husband’s job is very demanding, I work 32 hours a week and our 3 kids have pretty demanding schedules. I don’t have time to go to a gym. Ha, the thought of that makes me laugh! Well, guess what? That is no excuse to not work out! I’m a huge fan of internet and…

About Jessica

Jessica Sleepless Mom Welcome sleepless moms! I haven’t had a full nights rest in over 2 years. Why, you ask? Because like you, juggling a toddler and a baby, working, and finding time for myself has left me sleepless, yet full of joy.

The inspiration for my blog came from tirelessly searching online for the answers new moms have, just to find out there is no right answer. My hope and vision is to create a community for moms to comment and share real life stories with one another when Google just isn’t cutting it. Whether you have specific questions or just want to comment and relate, this is your space to ask your fellow moms advice and know you’re not the only one that screws up from time to time.

I have assembled a well-rounded team that’s here to share their struggles and successes with you, as well as offer support in any way possible. This is an interactive site and we are here to cater to your mom needs. Please feel free to contact our team members with new topics you want us to tackle or even simple questions about motherhood. That’s what we are here for….
