Sugar Sugar

July 9, 2018

Eli standing in front of candy

I’m totally guilty of giving my little ones too much sugar at times. I find when they have too much of it, it takes so long to get them back on track with a healthy diet. There is sugar in absolutely everything so how do you balance it all out? I don’t want to be…

Jessica Hall Yoga

Ever since baby number two came along, life’s been, well, a little more hectic. Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t change one thing, but motherhood definitely has its challenges. I’d say one of the biggest challenges I’ve faced since giving birth to my first born, Sophie, has been my overall health and fitness routine. Pre-kids,…

The Importance of Your Child’s Gut Health

April 20, 2018

Three kids walking together

As mothers, we spend almost every waking moment worrying about our children. Are they sick, did they eat enough, are they hurting, did they sleep enough, are they falling behind, are they supposed to know all their colors by now, did they have too much sugar, are they okay?! I can’t promise that there will…

It’s Time to Get Healthy!

April 6, 2018

I’ll admit, I never thought I was the “cleanse” type of gal. I pretty much eat what I want, and I’m not on a strict exercise regimen, due to the kids, so I just exercise when I can. Let’s be real though, my workouts consist of pushing the kids around the neighborhood in their favorite…

We Survived The Flu

We Survived The Flu

This year, so many people were affected somehow by the dreaded flu. For us, it was the night of Christmas when Sophie started getting sick. My poor baby could not stop throwing up, so we knew she caught the flu. Watching my little two year old girl go through that was so incredibly sad. I…

Girls Night In!

Girls Night In with A Bad Moms Christmas

I’ll be honest, it’s been awhile since I’ve hosted a girls night at the house. We usually meet up at a restaurant or lounge for a mid-week happy hour, once in a blue moon when our hubby’s can watch the kids. I decided it was time to host a fun girls night in this week,…

February H2O Challenge

Sometimes it is the simplest things that are the most difficult. I am completely guilty about not drinking enough water every day, mostly because I “coffee it up” until it’s time for vino! Yup, mom life at its finest. I’m going to make a change this month and do something good for my body, especially…

About Jessica

Jessica Sleepless Mom Welcome sleepless moms! I haven’t had a full nights rest in over 2 years. Why, you ask? Because like you, juggling a toddler and a baby, working, and finding time for myself has left me sleepless, yet full of joy.

The inspiration for my blog came from tirelessly searching online for the answers new moms have, just to find out there is no right answer. My hope and vision is to create a community for moms to comment and share real life stories with one another when Google just isn’t cutting it. Whether you have specific questions or just want to comment and relate, this is your space to ask your fellow moms advice and know you’re not the only one that screws up from time to time.

I have assembled a well-rounded team that’s here to share their struggles and successes with you, as well as offer support in any way possible. This is an interactive site and we are here to cater to your mom needs. Please feel free to contact our team members with new topics you want us to tackle or even simple questions about motherhood. That’s what we are here for….
