I have the perfect family movie night movie for you this week – The Mitchells vs The Machines! It’s coming out on Blue-Ray and it’s something everyone in your family will enjoy watching.
The Mitchells vs The Machines
If you haven’t seen The Mitchells vs The Machines, here’s the quick rundown. Katie Mitchell is starting her first year at film school, so she goes on a road trip with her parents, younger brother, and their dog to drop her off. But their plans to bond as a family are interrupted when the world’s electronic devices come to life to stage an uprising. With help from two friendly robots, the Mitchells must now come together to save one another – and the planet – from the new technological revolution.
The Blu-Ray release “Katie Mitchell’s Special Edition” features over 2 hours of new content including an all-new short (Dog Cop 7: The Final Chapter) and Katie’s Extended Cinematic Bonanza Cut. The Blu-Ray edition is made as if Katie Mitchell would have made it herself, down to the packaging, menus and even a “surprise and delight” insert booklet from Katie. Katie’s Extended Cinematic Bonanza Cut includes over 40 minutes of deleted scenes. In addition, the Blu-Ray, DVD and digital versions of the film include fun activities to enjoy as a family and that kids will love: How To Make Sock Puppets and How To Make Katie Face Cupcakes.
You can pick up a copy of Katie Mitchell’s Special Edition of The Mitchells vs The Machines starting Tuesday, December 14th.
