I know I can’t be the only mom who sees another kid hit their sweet little baby and immediately feel defensive. Protecting our children is our job, isn’t it?
I know it’s not normal to want to throw it down with a toddler, but it’s so sad to see.
Playground Fight Club
What’s worse is when it’s your friend’s kids who are the antagonists. How do you tell your friend that their kid is a little shit? You don’t.
It’s hard to let go when your instinct is to protect your kids from everything. You can’t fight every battle for your children as much as you’d like to.
The truth is, we’re not always going to be around when things get hard, and that is part of life. You can’t watch your kid’s every move and you certainly don’t want to become that worrying helicopter parent. Kids will be kids.
With that being said, I will just continue to eagle eye every snot-nosed kid that comes into contact with mine. I am, after all, a mom.

This totally just happened to my little man on the soccer Feild. The next week my boy was afraid of it happening again so my solution is this next soccer practice I’m gonna put the two together and have them meet and try to become friends to play together and see if it helps with my sons anxiety about it and hope the other boy becomes more friendly with him. Fingers crossed!!
