It seems like these days are all about nap times and diaper changes. I’m a long way from my pre-pregnancy self who enjoyed a girl’s night out maybe a little too much. I was once the girl that never missed a happy hour or a chance to get out with girlfriends.
Now, with a baby, things have changed. Invites for last minute trips and girls nights have definitely slowed down. Let’s face it, if your girlfriends don’t have babies, they do not want to talk about baby stuff!
Even though these little beings have turned our world upside down, it’s important to find balance. Having a baby doesn’t mean your world has to drastically change. It doesn’t mean you should wear sweatpants every day. Well, you can most days! : )
Keeping your identity and taking time for yourself is important for your confidence. Stay sexy for your husband! Go out and treat yourself to a mani/pedi!
Being a happy mom carries over into your relationships with your family and enriches your life.
Just because your priorities have changed, it doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy yourself and the things that make you YOU!
