I am thrilled to introduce you to Lovey&Grink, a mom-founded and led business trying to bring sweet dreams to kids everywhere.
I founded Lovey&Grink because at bedtime, my 4-year-old daughter was constantly complaining that her PJs were “itchy” or made her hot at night. When we searched for super soft pajamas that she would actually wear, we noticed that most of the softer pajama brands we saw were prone to shrink or really expensive. So we decided to make our own.
Our signature fabric is a blend of Modal, Cotton and Spandex, in perfect proportion, making them:
- Breathable (keeping your kids cool)
- Durable (they’ll hold their shape and last after tons of washing)
- And super soft (they’ll want to live in them!)
We also designed them in prints our kids loved – every design is kid tested and approved! We think that every kid should have comfy PJs that they are excited to wear.
We aim to run this business according to our values, so we ship our PJs in landfill-friendly packaging and wrap them in recycled paper. We are also very proud of our unisex/ gender neutral prints as well!
Who are we?
The Lovey&Grink team consists of two working parents (and a loving auntie!) who have day jobs outside of the pajama world! I practice medicine, (gynecology) and my husband is in financial technology. The final piece to our puzzle is my incredibly talented sister who spearheads product development and fit. Together we have made it our goal to make bedtime easier and fun!
What’s with the name?
Credit goes to my daughter, Maddie (now 6). When she was little, she had a little pink giraffe soother blanket she called “Lovey,” and there was a TV cartoon she loved with a character named “Greg.” When she was 4, she used to pronounce Greg as “Grink” when she was playing pretend with my husband – we combined those words and Lovey&Grink was born!
