We recently went on a family trip to Hawaii, and it was so wonderful. We love visiting the island of Maui and staying at the Four Seasons Maui on the Wailea Coast.
Four Seasons Resort Maui
This is a great resort for families, with amenities for both kids and adults. Their concierge will help you create a family itinerary with fun things for everyone in your group, including activities that are just for kids as well as multi-generational options.
We spent a lot of time playing on the beach, and we also visited the resort’s amazing pools. It was so nice to relax under the cabanas by the pool with a Mai Tai.
One of the fun nightly events that the kids loved was running around the resort with the torchbearer to light the 50 torches they have on the property.
Sophie was super excited to try snorkeling, so we added that to our itinerary. I literally teared up watching Sophie’s excitement and how well she did. It was one of the best parts of the trip and a memory that I will cherish forever.
One option for kids is the Kids for all Seasons program that is open daily with fun activities organized by a licensed team of child care experts. This is a great way to ensure your kids are having a blast while you visit the adults-only pool or get a spa treatment. The spa options are lovely. You can get a massage in a traditional open-air thatched hut next to the ocean with spectacular views of Wailea Beach, which is the most relaxing experience ever. They also have wellness treatments, including IV vitamin therapy from Next|Health.
The Four Seasons Resort Maui also has a lot of great options for dining, so you don’t have to leave the property to get great food. Spago is Master Chef Wolfgang Puck’s restaurant that offers a fusion of Hawaiian and California cuisine. If steak and seafood is more your jam, DUO is a great casual option. We also enjoyed the Beachwalk Cafe for drinks and snacks on the go. And if you just can’t make yourself leave the pool (I wouldn’t blame you), they also have poolside dining.
We had such a fun time together at the Four Seasons Resort Maui and crated a ton of special family memories. If you are planning a trip to Hawaii, I highly encourage you to book your visit there. I know you will have a great time.
