Two chihuahuas who travel around the world now want to travel to your home and into your heart!
I have two children of my own, Michael and Michelle. I’d done my best – and still do – to show them the world in hopes of expanding their knowledge to the different customs and cultures that can be found all over the world. My children have long since left the house, but my passion for teaching children about what’s beyond their backyards has grown.
With my kids out of the house and more time on my hands, I chose to pursue a lifelong dream fueled by my own love of traveling, kicking off my children’s book series, The Adventures of Bella and Harry in 2011 and publishing my first book, The Adventures of Bella and Harry, Let’s Visit Paris! also in 2011.
The series chronicles the escapades of two globe-trotting chihuahuas: Bella, along with her little brother Harry, and their family, as they travel the world exploring the sights and sounds of new, exciting cities. Each book represents a different city traveled to. From Paris to Cario to Rome to Transylvania to New York City, and everywhere in-between, I have written and published 24 books, with the 25th in production.
The books, filled with colorful pages, easy reading and tons of adventure will allow your young reader to gain an appreciation for the world and its cultural diversity. The series is an informative, interactive and an exciting way to introduce children to travel, different counties, customs, history, and landmarks, and was created to encourage exploration of locations both
domestically and internationally.
Receiving praise from Publishers Weekly, School Library Journal, and more, the books, which were initially packed and filled from my dining room table, can now be found in select Barnes and Nobles stores, Amazon, or online via our website at bellandharry.com.
My hope is for you to invite this series into your home and bring it to life with the stuffed animals, allowing your children the opportunity to escape their rooms and wonder about the world around them.
