Air Fryer Salmon

I’ve been using my new air fryer, trying all sorts of air fryer recipes, and right now there is a new favorite for my family – air fryer salmon. It’s super easy to make fresh salmon in the air fryer, and you will be excited how quickly you can prepare this healthy dinner.

Air Fryer Salmon Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Salmon
  • Olive Oil – I use Co Cu Luxx Extra Virgin Olive Oil with CBD
  • Minced Garlic
  • Salt & Pepper

The secret to optimizing your cooking with the air fryer is to make sure you preheat when you are cooking something like salmon. It will cut down on your cooking time.

Preheat your air fryer to 390º. If your air fryer doesn’t have a preheat setting, you can start it off at 390º for about five minutes.

While your air fryer is preheating, prepare your salmon! Coat the salmon with your olive oil, minced garlic, and salt/pepper. If you already have a salmon rub that you like to use, go for it! Any type of seasonings will work in the air fryer.

I like to add a piece of parchment paper in the bottom of my air fryer, especially when I’m cooking salmon, since the skin likes to stick. Don’t add your parchment paper while preheating, as the air can blow it around. Wait until you are going to weigh it down with the food!

Place your salmon, skin side down, on the parchment paper in the air fryer. Cook for 10 minutes at 390º. No need to turn or flip the salmon during the cooking process. Just check on it and see if it flakes easily with a fork – that’s your sign that it’s finished cooking. It’s that easy. Remove from the air fryer and serve with the side of your choice. (I’m always a fan of salad or asparagus with salmon!) Dinner’s ready in less than 15 minutes.

About Jessica

Jessica Sleepless Mom Welcome sleepless moms! I haven’t had a full nights rest in over 2 years. Why, you ask? Because like you, juggling a toddler and a baby, working, and finding time for myself has left me sleepless, yet full of joy.

The inspiration for my blog came from tirelessly searching online for the answers new moms have, just to find out there is no right answer. My hope and vision is to create a community for moms to comment and share real life stories with one another when Google just isn’t cutting it. Whether you have specific questions or just want to comment and relate, this is your space to ask your fellow moms advice and know you’re not the only one that screws up from time to time.

I have assembled a well-rounded team that’s here to share their struggles and successes with you, as well as offer support in any way possible. This is an interactive site and we are here to cater to your mom needs. Please feel free to contact our team members with new topics you want us to tackle or even simple questions about motherhood. That’s what we are here for….
